Stacey Malasky is an artist, illustrator, and screen printer living and working out of Detroit. She is a founding co-owner of Ocelot Print Shop, a community screen printing shop in the Cass Corridor. All of Stacey's screen prints are made from her original drawings. Each one is a little unique, because they are all hand pulled. She is endlessly inspired by the natural world, especially her backyard eco-system. She uses eco-friendly, water based inks for paper and textile printing. All of her prints are printed on French Paper, a Michigan based family owned paper mill that creates lovely papers. Stacey's tea towels are printed on 100% cotton towels that are also produced in Michigan, by a small family owned business.

The creation of Marvling Bros is a story that began in 2010 with two mums at the school gates of a sleepy surburban primary school in Essex… In 2010 the head mistress of the school held a competition for the pupils. The task seemed straightforward and simple enough: How much can you fit in a matchbox? Hayley’s seven-year-old son was not enthused by idea, but Hayley entered for him and came up with all sorts of objects that not only fitted in the matchbox but fulfilled a concept too. For example, a grain of rice and a coriander seed which she labelled ‘curry takeaway’, and a picture of the Mona Lisa and Van Gogh’s Sunflowers became a miniature art gallery. She did not win the competition, and most people thought it was mad, but one other person at the school totally got it - Emma. Two years later, Emma, inspired by the matchboxes, (and having just offloaded her youngest child at school) thought the concept could be the basis for a business and for nine months she and Hayley beavered away researching products, developing ideas and learning how to run an e-commerce company. They launched in July 2013 with a website and 12 different product designs. In the first week they sold exactly ten matchboxes, half of those to people they knew. Not the big hit they were hoping for. However, by their first Christmas, they were flying out of the door. In the last eight years the business has gone from strength to strength, while keeping the company ethos - to provide inspiration!

Laura Drapac’s printing career began in Athens, Ohio, where she studied both graphic design and printmaking at Ohio University. Upon graduating with her BFA in 2008, she worked for Apple Inc. full-time as a Creative Genius while applying for graduate school. After one year away from academia, Laura returned to school as a graduate student in printmaking at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, where she was able to explore the graphic and tactile qualities of letterpress in her own work. She received her MFA in May of 2012 and now works as the primary designer and letterpress printer at Triple Threat Press.

All of our print work is done on antique, restored, letterpresses. The basic techniques we employ have been in use for hundreds of years and traditionally would include individual pieces of lead type and hand-carved wooden blocks. While we do have a small collection of fonts, we also love helping bring letterpress into the 21st century.
We do a lot of our design work in Adobe Illustrator and are able to turn those designs into photopolymer plates that we print on our letterpress. This allows us to us to easily use multiple typefaces and custom artwork in a way that the letterpress printers of yesteryear could only dream of.

Clap Clap is a LA based stationery brand created by illustrator Mimi Kim. Mimi originally studied graphic design in Korea and worked at an advertising firm when she started a personal project: a cooking-themed calendar to give to her family and friends. The success of the calendar inspired Mimi to pursue her illustration work full time and in 2013, Clap Clap was born in the pursuit to send out good vibes and cheers to friends and loved ones like a rousing applause delivered to their mailbox.

The product line has since expanded to include whimsical greeting cards, notebooks, planners, wrapping paper and the creation of scented cards.

Inspired by natural and floral scents, Mimi worked closely with specialists at perfumeries in South Korea to turn this concept into a reality. In April 2015, Clap Clap released its first Botanical Scented Collection, which continues to grow with the purpose of providing an enhanced sensorial experience of sharing stories and sentiments through letter writing.

It is our hope to create products that remind us of nature’s beauty the way we treasured it when we were young, collecting pretty things to hold on to. We hope you enjoy and treasure our cards in the same way.

In 2012, illustrator Louise Lockhart was working in a beautiful stationery shop in Vancouver which inspired her to start her own line of illustrated products. Realising there was a gap on the market for quality party games, she began making her version of Pass the Parcel (fuelled on peanut butter) and so The Printed Peanut was born. The Printed Peanut is still a one-woman operation, but is now based in sunny Yorkshire, UK. Louise lives and works in an old cotton mill where she spends her days creating designs from little paper cut outs and line drawings. Inspired by vintage textiles and print ephemera, her unique and colourful work has been applied to a varied selection of products including toys, games, clothes and pieces for your home.

Laura Drapac’s printing career began in Athens, Ohio, where she studied both graphic design and printmaking at Ohio University. Upon graduating with her BFA in 2008, she worked for Apple Inc. full-time as a Creative Genius while applying for graduate school. After one year away from academia, Laura returned to school as a graduate student in printmaking at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, where she was able to explore the graphic and tactile qualities of letterpress in her own work. She received her MFA in May of 2012 and now works as the primary designer and letterpress printer at Triple Threat Press.

All of our print work is done on antique, restored, letterpresses. The basic techniques we employ have been in use for hundreds of years and traditionally would include individual pieces of lead type and hand-carved wooden blocks. While we do have a small collection of fonts, we also love helping bring letterpress into the 21st century.
We do a lot of our design work in Adobe Illustrator and are able to turn those designs into photopolymer plates that we print on our letterpress. This allows us to us to easily use multiple typefaces and custom artwork in a way that the letterpress printers of yesteryear could only dream of.

Clap Clap is a LA based stationery brand created by illustrator Mimi Kim. Mimi originally studied graphic design in Korea and worked at an advertising firm when she started a personal project: a cooking-themed calendar to give to her family and friends. The success of the calendar inspired Mimi to pursue her illustration work full time and in 2013, Clap Clap was born in the pursuit to send out good vibes and cheers to friends and loved ones like a rousing applause delivered to their mailbox.

The product line has since expanded to include whimsical greeting cards, notebooks, planners, wrapping paper and the creation of scented cards.

Inspired by natural and floral scents, Mimi worked closely with specialists at perfumeries in South Korea to turn this concept into a reality. In April 2015, Clap Clap released its first Botanical Scented Collection, which continues to grow with the purpose of providing an enhanced sensorial experience of sharing stories and sentiments through letter writing.

It is our hope to create products that remind us of nature’s beauty the way we treasured it when we were young, collecting pretty things to hold on to. We hope you enjoy and treasure our cards in the same way.

With her love of block printing deeply rooted in its history and craftsmanship, Katharine Watson is inspired by the process of creating work by hand. She celebrates the imperfect, one-of-a-kind look of handmade items in all her work. 
She begins with sketches of her signature floral patterns, then carves them into linoleum blocks and prints the designs onto stationery, textiles, and other usable goods. It's Katharine's way of preserving the traditions behind the craft. It's her way of passing it on from her own home, to yours.

Jenny Rostkowski is a candle maker based near Detroit, Michigan. She uses primarily soy & coconut waxes along with premium fragrance oils to create a variety of candle styles to fit every aesthetic. Her curated fragrance combinations are unique, inspired, & intoxicating.

This hand felted ornament is crafted using natural fibers and eco-friendly materials. The detailed figure is hand stitched and embroidered by talented artisans. SRB has partnered with these artisans in effort to build sustainable livelihoods in remote regions.

The creation of Marvling Bros is a story that began in 2010 with two mums at the school gates of a sleepy surburban primary school in Essex… In 2010 the head mistress of the school held a competition for the pupils. The task seemed straightforward and simple enough: How much can you fit in a matchbox? Hayley’s seven-year-old son was not enthused by idea, but Hayley entered for him and came up with all sorts of objects that not only fitted in the matchbox but fulfilled a concept too. For example, a grain of rice and a coriander seed which she labelled ‘curry takeaway’, and a picture of the Mona Lisa and Van Gogh’s Sunflowers became a miniature art gallery. She did not win the competition, and most people thought it was mad, but one other person at the school totally got it - Emma. Two years later, Emma, inspired by the matchboxes, (and having just offloaded her youngest child at school) thought the concept could be the basis for a business and for nine months she and Hayley beavered away researching products, developing ideas and learning how to run an e-commerce company. They launched in July 2013 with a website and 12 different product designs. In the first week they sold exactly ten matchboxes, half of those to people they knew. Not the big hit they were hoping for. However, by their first Christmas, they were flying out of the door. In the last eight years the business has gone from strength to strength, while keeping the company ethos - to provide inspiration!

Before crossing the Atlantic, Isabelle spent a decade as a nomadic designer working with agencies in different parts of the world. As she traveled, she created Isatopia to share the sketches, patterns, and illustrated stories that came to her on the road. Isatopia became a shop featuring fun illustrated products designed by Isabelle out of her home studio on the rocky coast of Maine. Each creation is lovingly created to brighten up a home! Her favorite medium is fabric, since fondly remembering her mother teaching her how to sew at a machine at 5 years old. Michelle and her husband live near Madison, Wisconsin. They are parents to 3 adopted boys, who are the loves of their lives. They are active and passionate advocates for children who need families to love them.
