Toasty Tea Loose Tea

Traditionally known as Genmaicha, Retea Toasty Tea starts with a high quality green tea. Japanese-grown sweet mochi rice is then toasted under high heat, and some of the Mochi Rice pops into popped rice (it looks like popcorn!). The ingredients are then blended together for a toasty + nutty green tea flavor.

Package size: 40g Pouch, 20 cups
Caffeine Contents: 45-60 mg per 8 oz. of brewed tea
Ingredients: Green Tea, Mochi Rice.

Brewing Instructions: Steep 1 teaspoon in 8 oz. of boiling water for 3 minutes. Increase the steep time with each additional brew. Add a tea ball to your order for easy brewing!

As of December 2019 and together with our customers, we have helped to fund up to 75,700 hours of education for refugee children. Our nonprofit partners utilize our donations to deliver school supplies, fund classrooms, teachers, and even transportation to school to ensure classroom time is made possible. At Retea, we believe that education is the foundation of positive social change.
