About the hosts:
Ashley Welser's love of knitting and fiber arts blossomed at the age of twelve and quickly became her passion. Her goal as a teacher of fiber arts is to cultivate a love of crafting in a way that inspires students to think creatively about the resources surrounding them and to fill the world with beauty while doing tasks that increase mindfulness and independent thinking. She also owns Ashwelle Fiber Works - a hand spun and hand dyed yarn business emphasizing the creation of unique small batch yarns made slowly, thoughtfully, and with respect to the materials used in the process.
Angela Zachary, a third-generation textile hand-crafter with over two decades of teaching experience, finds pure joy in crafting and fostering community. Her passion for creating is fostered out of a love for sustainability, and learning to slow down.
