Hosted by POST + Angela Eastman of Flag Mountain Jewelry
Saturday June 8th, 2019 from 10:00am to 2:00pm
Prepare to get absolutely obsessed with basket weaving!
The basics of basket making will be introduced, tried and tested during this 4 hour hands-on workshop. Join Angela as she shares traditional techniques for creating small functional vessels from basketry reed with options for individuality and creative twists. Each student should expect to leave with a basket and instructional handout so that they may undoubtedly continue making and filling their homes with these gorgeous handmade objects.
This process can get a little wet. Students are advised to wear clothes they don't mind getting dirty. Aprons will also be made available for the duration of the workshop. All materials will be included.
