Hosted by POST + Regina Pericini, from Flock Home
Saturday April 27th from 10am to 2pm
Let's get designing + carving + printing on fabric!
During this hands-on workshop, Regina will teach the art of carving stamps for block printing onto fabric. You'll learn about the tools, techniques, and supplies needed to create your own designs and print them onto material.
In this session, we will complete a tote bag and a tea towel. Everything will be provided - all you have to do is come and have fun! Everyone will take home an instructional booklet along with their unique stamp, practice fabrics, and a freshly printed tote bag and tea towel.
Aprons will be provided, but please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a little bit dirty. Ink will stain your clothing!
About the instructor:
Regina Pericini, is an Okemos-based artist, designer, and maker of wearable textiles and handcrafted housewares. Her line, Flock Home, features hand-printed goods inspired by flora, fauna, and abstract patterns.
