Visible Mending Workshop: Needle Felted Patches with POST
Saturday January 20th from 10:30am-1:30pm
Entry Level Class—No experience necessary, however you must be 14 or older
Put your creativity to work as you learn this sustainable, fun, and crafty approach to salvaging your clothing.
Whether you’re looking to reclaim the remains of a moth feast, salvage the knees of your child’s pants, or simply want to add some pizzazz to that drab old sweater—we’ve got you covered. This workshop will introduce you to visible mending techniques using the playful art of needle felting.
A variety of roving and fabrics will be provided for practice. We encourage you to bring in your favorite ripped, worn, and wholly wool sweaters, sock, or scarves for guidance.
COVID-19 POLICY - We are asking all workshop participants to be fully vaccinated or provide a negative test result from within three days prior to the class and to accept all requests of both POST and the instructor concerning mask wearing.
