Tapestry Weaving Workshop: Beginners Weaving with Julia Targus of Electric Pink
Sunday January 28th from 10:30am-1:30pm
Entry Level Class—No experience necessary, however you must be 14 or older
During this make and take workshop you will be learning the basics of tapestry weaving. You will receive all the supplies needed to create your very own piece of fiber art framed in a handmade reclaimed wood frame created right here in the Mutual Adoration wood shop. We will go over how to continue this craft at home in your own creative way.
No experience needed, just a positive attitude and an excitement for yarn and design. Includes all materials and tools needed for project, as well as refreshments!

About the Instructor:
Julia Targus is the face behind Electric Pink Arts and Crafts. With a BFA in Fiber Arts from Wayne State University, Julia has used her education to fuel her love for textiles. She has been working with POST to teach tapestry weaving since the spring of 2018 and has thoroughly enjoyed spreading her love for this unique craft.
