Moroccan Beauty Traditions

Hosted by POST + Monique Herzig, of Alchemy Slow Living

Saturday, April 18th from 12pm to 2pm

Moroccan beauty treatments are renowned for their reinvigorating skincare and wellness benefits. This workshop gives us an opportunity to learn and experiment with these treatments.

Monique will lead an exploration into some of the most luxurious and effective ingredients, sourced directly from Morocco. Learn about the traditional and contemporary uses of Moroccan black soap, argan oil, clays from the Atlas Mountains, and more. Blend your own custom facial mask, oil, and mist with confidence. Each ingredient has been an integral, tried and tested skincare element for centuries.

Each student will also have the opportunity to receive a mini facial during the workshop. Everyone will leave with a custom skincare set of their own creation.

About the Instructor:

Monique Herzig, the Creative Director and owner at Alchemy Slow Living Studios literally majored in ‘Leisure’. A firm believer that we are more content when we engage our senses and become protagonists in our own story, Monique is an advocate for a Slow Living Lifestyle. Since the early 1990s she has been developing plant-based skincare and synthetic free fragrances. Monique’s facilitation style is open, engaging, and encourages active participation.
