Dive into the world of free-form art making with multi-media artist, Shug aka Sheri Lee Robinson.

In this hands-on, action-packed workshop you will learn about and practice Automatic Art Making. This art form involves creating art without conscious thought. The goal is to access the subconscious mind and produce images that are ambiguous and open to interpretation. We will be looking to the Surrealists and others for some inspiration via a short slideshow presentation. Don’t miss out on this chance for a super fun and productive Summer workshop where you will create and take home a TON of new art! 

Aprons, gloves, and all materials/tools/supplies will be provided.

Each attendee will take home many works of art, along with the know-how and inspiration to continue making on their own.

About the Instructor:

Shug (Sheri Lee Robinson) is an accomplished Abstract Art instructor at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center in Birmingham, Michigan and a working fine artist. Her sold out courses have her students glowing with creative flow and leaving with bold new bodies of exciting work Her dedication to her practice and her compelling, surrealist/abstract painting style has attracted admirers and collectors from all over the world.
