Printmaking Workshop: Introduction to Block Printing on Fabric with Regina Pericini of Flock Home
Sunday September 26th
from 12pm to 4pm
Entry Level Class
No experience necessary, however you must be 16 or older
Let's get designing + carving + printing on fabric!
During this hands-on workshop, Regina will teach the art of carving stamps for block printing onto fabric. You'll learn about the tools, techniques, and supplies needed to create your own designs and print them onto material.
Bring in a few photos/drawings with simple shapes and designs that would fit on a 4" x 6" block. Feel free to check Regina's Pinterest @ginarellli for all your needed block printing inspiration needs! She will also have a few templates as well that you can choose from if you can't decide.
Everyone will take home an instructional booklet along with their unique stamp, practice fabrics, and a freshly printed tote bag and tea towel.
Aprons will also be provided, but please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a little bit dirty. Ink will stain your clothing!
COVID-19 POLICY - We are asking all workshop participants to be fully vaccinated or provide a negative test result from within three days prior to the class and to accept all requests of both POST and the instructor concerning mask wearing.
