Get ready for a two-day whirlwind of woodworking glory. This beginner-friendly extravaganza promises to transform you from a novice into a DIY woodworking virtuoso.

Our design is delightfully simple, ideal for you budding woodworkers. Plus, it's a folding lounge chair – because everyone loves furniture that does magic tricks. You'll walk away with a lightweight, reclaimed wood folding chair, plans you can actually understand, and the know-how to make another chair without us holding your hand.

This 2-part immersion workshop is all about taking baby steps into the world of woodworking. Day 1 is all about the fun stuff: ripping, chamfering, and cutting lumber like a pro. You'll get to play with the big toys like the table saw, power feeder, miter saw, and drill press. By the end, you'll have 32 chair parts, all painted and sealed, ready for assembly on Day 2.

Just a heads up, we've done some prep work so you can create a masterpiece in just six hours. You'll learn how to operate tools without losing a finger, measure with precision, and techniques for applying paint and finish. Let's get started, shall we?

All students must wear closed toe shoes for this workshop. Refrain from wearing loose clothing or anything that dangles. Tie up long hair and tuck away your jewelry and headscarves.***

Aprons will be provided, but please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a little bit dirty. Paint and sealant oils will stain your clothing!
