Custom Stationery Workshop: Metallic Foil Monogrammed Cards
Saturday November 12th from 1 to 4pm
Entry Level Class—No experience needed, however must be 14 or older.
Get ready to create some gorgeous cards and impress all of your friends!!
During this small group workshop, we'll create a beautiful, monogrammed stationery set with a hot foil press. Using our collection of vintage 1940s type, we'll help you design a completely personalized, pressed foil note card suite. We'll supply the luxe letterpress paper and envelopes, that hold a deep impression for the metallic type. You can choose your favorite color - gold, silver, holographic or rose gold. You'll also cut and assemble deluxe envelope liners with your choice of decorative paper.
Everyone will take home a finished set of 5 cards with lined envelopes wrapped in ribbon.

About the Instructor:
Elizabeth Isakson-Dado is an artist, educator, and curator. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Wayne State University and a Master of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Book and Paper from Columbia College Chicago. Liz has exhibited widely in the US, and has work in institutional collections including The Center for Book and Paper Art, The Poetry Foundation, and Art in Print Magazine. For the past 10 years, she has taught university classes and community workshops in letterpress printing. Liz also sells her own prints through her Instagram, @theaquariushouse, to raise money for social justice campaigns.She lives and works in Berkley, Michigan.
