Hosted by POST + Amber Barker
Saturday November 17th from 10am to 1:30pm
Mimosas, cocoa, snacks and creative embroidery! Hooray!
During this 3.5 hour make + take workshop, Amber will teach various embroidery stitches and techniques. Learn how to make a beautiful wreath that can even be displayed all year round. Holiday themes are welcome, but so is a more subtle color palette. We'll be working with lovely botanically inspired shapes and stitches.
This class is recommended to people who are comfortable with hoop embroidery/cross stitch. Students will learn how to set up a double hooped embroidery project, transfer a design onto fabric, and how to embellish using basic embroidery techniques. Take-home instructions will be available.
Inspired by traditional embroidery and the more contemporary look of Namaste Embroidery, this project will make a perfect handmade gift for a loved one or a beautiful wall-hanging in your home.
Everyone will take home their own unique piece and the know-how to create embroidered projects in the future.

Amber is the current Artist-in-Residence at POST so you'll definitely see her around the studio often!
