Hosted by POST + Lucia Londono, of Ata Felting Design
We are so pleased to welcome back one of our favorite artist/instructor friends from Bogotá, Colombia. Lucia will be here all weekend, showing new work and teaching some fun felting workshops in the POST studio!
During this 4 hour make + take workshop, we will explore the ancient technique of wet felting to create beautiful felted wool bowls. International Fibers Artist, Maria Lucia Londoño will walk you through her process - from the selection of specialty wool brought from Colombia to the tools and techniques required to transform the wool into felted material. This is an incredibly versatile technique that can be applied to a multitude of projects!
Everyone will create their very own unique felted bowl to take home. Students will also receive a kit tote bag including a detailed instruction guide to continue practicing.
Aprons will be provided, but please wear comfortable clothing that may get a little wet.
