Celebrate Small Business Saturday with some super women-owned small businesses!
During this 3 hour make + take workshop, you will learn the basics of weaving and try out multiple techniques while creating a unique framed tapestry. This intro class is perfect for beginners. Julia will walk you through a variety of yarns, materials, tools, and ways to create colorful compositions with many textures. She always provides lots of yarn and roving for endless color combinations!
You will create a ready-to-hang woven wall hanging during the class. Everyone will take home tapestry needles, yarn, and a handcrafted reclaimed wood frame, made by Mutual Adoration.
No experience necessary

Please arrive on time or a little early to settle in and look around before the class begins.
All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to the workshop. POST assumes no liability for accidents or injuries. Create at your own risk.
Please let us know if you have a need for any accommodations that we can plan for in advance; including special needs, severe allergies, and/or making the space functional for those with physical limitations, etc. Our goal is to make our space open, safe, and inviting to all.
Please note that workshop registrations are not refundable. If you need to cancel, you must do so 7 days prior to the workshop in order to receive a POST credit for another workshop on our schedule. Space is limited and the classes are carefully planned to accommodate a certain number of attendees. Due to the cost of purchasing and preparing materials, we are unable to offer full refunds. Your spot may be transferred to a friend though - just call and let us know if someone will be taking your spot.
In the event of low registration, workshops may be cancelled by POST 2 days prior to the class. In the case of a cancellation, we will contact all participants with the option of rescheduling or a full refund.
