Join artist Erin Wakeland for a three-week deep dive into the world of paper mâché sculpture. Using cardboard, homemade glue, and paint, students will learn how to create sculptures with recycled materials. This is a beginner level class.
Whether you're interested in making a giant strawberry, an oversized charm, a strange creature, or an object from your imagination, you'll spend three weeks developing and completing a sculpture from start to finish.
Week One: Foundations & Form Building

About the Instructor:
Erin Wakeland is a visual artist who makes multi-media sculptures, paintings, and accessories. She is interested in objects, trinkets, and the stories they tell about our world. Erin is inspired by the tug between nature and a whimsical, man-made world. A handmade, vibrant, and painterly quality runs throughout her multi-medium work.
