Thumbprint Artifacts was conceived in 2012 by two life-long friends, Becky Riess and Kris Engle. These creative Michiganders wanted to recognize entrepreneurial spirit by supporting fairly traded artisan companies in areas of the world greatly affected by unemployment. This support translates into empowerment and self-sufficiency that helps the artisans care for themselves, their families, and contribute to their communities. With Kris based in South Africa and Becky based in Michigan, they created their 'cycle of success' by purchasing directly from the artisans and sharing their crafts with galleries and fine boutiques across the world. Each item sold positively impacts employment security and growth to build sustainable and profitable businesses. Most of the artisans are women, primarily single mothers, who all take great pride in their work. Considering the extended families that each artisan supports, Thumbprint Artifacts is currently touching the lives of 500+ people.

Thumbprint Artifacts is a Proud Member of the Fair Trade Federation - a trade association of fair trade enterprises fully committed to equitable and sustainable trading partnerships. They strengthen and support members in order to grow the global movement of trade that values the health of the planet, and the labor, dignity, and equality of all people.

Bibliophile is the smell of old books, mahogany interiors and classic tales. The fragrance begins with notes of fresh citrus and juniper berries followed by middles notes of verbena.

These reed diffusers are a delightful way to spread pleasant fragrance throughout your room. Simply open the bottle and pop in the reeds. Within a few hours the fragrance will soak up the reeds and begin to scent your space. Works best in small to medium sized rooms. For larger spaces, use three or more reeds.

To hear her tell it, Amelia Dean, creator of a plant-based, hand-crafted beauty line dubbed Bohemian Rêves, is basically the conduit between the Universe and the growing horde of obsessed customers who discover her wares at day spas sprinkled across the country. “I often feel that Bohem created itself and I’m more of a vessel helping to manifest these products,” says Dean. “I think vibrations are present in all aspects in life. Together we enjoy creating new products while raising our three boys on our homestead in North Carolina.

A bit sweet, a bit salty, a bit spicy, and very unique! True pistachio notes are blended with sweet vanilla and spicy cardamom to create this balanced, elevated gourmand fragrance. The Botanica Essentials Incense Collection features pure essential oils to create provocative and true-to-nature scents. Thought to clear stale, stagnant energy, incense has been used for centuries to promote calm and positive spaces. Our incense is made with our essential oils for a long, balanced ritualistic experience–sure to make any dwelling feel like a luxurious retreat.
