*This is a Beginner Level workshop - this means that you don't need to know much about sewing but you must know how to thread a machine and wind a bobbin. If you are a total newbie and unsure how to use a sewing machine, you may want to start with our Sewing Machine Essentials workshop.

The apron pattern uses two button-up shirts and features a large pocket, tie waist, and adjustable neck strap. Clean out your closet and bring in a couple of old favorite shirts! You can make this apron with something sentimental, something that no longer fits, or just some prints and patterns that strike your fancy. Adding unique trim, appliqué, and embroidery will take your apron to the next level!

This workshop will help you gain sewing confidence while you unleash your inner designer. Craft a very cute and functional apron while you become best buds with your sewing machine.

We'll have a variety of shirts and fabrics to choose from, but you are encouraged to bring your own shirts to use or to add to the community stash.

Bring your sewing machine if you wish to learn on your own equipment or you may borrow a studio machine. Please select your preference when you checkout.
