The goal of The Peach Fuzz is to make activism accessible and fun, giving you colorful ways to raise your voice and make participation in a movement as easy as putting a sticker on your water bottle. Of course, activism is much more than just a sticker, but we've all gotta start somewhere! I want you to be empowered to stand up for what you believe in, and do it all with a little creativity and a lot of sass. The issues we are facing in the realms of racism, sexism, climate change, mental health, and politics in general are devastating and honestly it is often all so overwhelming. Art has given me an outlet to scream at the top of my lungs “YOU SHOULD REALLY CARE WHAT HAPPENS TO OTHER PEOPLE” but in a way that is playful and optimistic and life-affirming and ultimately invites as many as possible to join our cause. In the words of Toni Cade Bambarayou, "The role of the artist is to make the revolution irresistible" and that's exactly what I'm out to do.

Kate Kilmurray practices the art of hand-weaving as a form of embodied meditation. Making beautiful handwoven textiles helps her to tap into inner stillness and creativity; and she teaches other women to do the same - to slow down, engage the rhythms of the body, and access a state of wholeness and flow. Kate has been teaching yoga and meditation for more than thirty years, and this is evident in her artistic practice. Kate’s experience of weaving is one of presence, awareness, and ritual. Her designs reflect inner stillness and deep communion with the colors, textures, and patterns of the natural world. By incorporating weavings in our homes, we bring more depth, beauty, and meaning to our daily lives.

This delicate basket was hand woven with Ponderosa Pine Needles that had fallen to the ground after a hard winter in Central Oregon. The embellishments just add to the handcrafted beauty. This basket features natural tigers eye agate stones.

Duffy Stender spent many years sculpting both wood and stone and came to believe that sculpting is something you feel, not something you talk about or plan. Duffy was born and raised in the rural Northwest, and inherited a strong feeling for the outdoors, both flora and fauna. He frequently combines weaving with his traditional sculpture work. Though he passed away last year, his wife - jewelry designer, Venita Stender - continues to share his work and legacy.

We draw inspiration from vintage fashion, the night sky and the beauty of the California landscape. We partner with a handful of old New England workshops that give us access to archives of 70+ years of molds and tooling which allows us to resuscitate genuine vintage design as those designs cycle back into fashion. Jodi Lynn Burton is an artist and illustrator, born and raised in Michigan. She finds much of her inspiration from exploring the outdoors and learning about science. DCA is a podcast dedicated to interviewing makers, creators, and DIY small business owners about what they do. Clap Clap is a LA based stationery brand created by illustrator Mimi Kim. Mimi originally studied graphic design in Korea and worked at an advertising firm when she started a personal project: a cooking-themed calendar to give to her family and friends. The success of the calendar inspired Mimi to pursue her illustration work full time and in 2013, Clap Clap was born in the pursuit to send out good vibes and cheers to friends and loved ones like a rousing applause delivered to their mailbox.

The product line has since expanded to include whimsical greeting cards, notebooks, planners, wrapping paper and the creation of scented cards.

Inspired by natural and floral scents, Mimi worked closely with specialists at perfumeries in South Korea to turn this concept into a reality. In April 2015, Clap Clap released its first Botanical Scented Collection, which continues to grow with the purpose of providing an enhanced sensorial experience of sharing stories and sentiments through letter writing.

It is our hope to create products that remind us of nature’s beauty the way we treasured it when we were young, collecting pretty things to hold on to. We hope you enjoy and treasure our cards in the same way.
