Jodi Lynn Burton is an artist and illustrator, born and raised in Michigan. She finds much of her inspiration from exploring the outdoors and learning about science. Jodi feels compelled to share her illustrations to help creativity live on in minds of adults and children alike. Her love for learning and sharing has also poured over into a passion project she calls Detroit Craft Academy. DCA is a podcast dedicated to interviewing makers, creators, and DIY small business owners about what they do. During the show Jodi encourages makers to share their struggles and talk about what it is really like to run a business.

Cosmically Misplaced is a cruelty-free beauty and home scent company located in Asheville, NC. Everything we offer is made to order, while that might make our processing times a little longer, you get the freshest products on your shelves for your customers! Created by Chrissy Jordan in 2011 as a creative outlet after having her second son. After experiencing a change in her skin from having children, finding alternatives to conventional skincare and beauty set me on a path to learning all I could about formulating. Using plant-based, high-quality, ethically sourced ingredients is my first goal when formulating. My husband John has joined the business now in retirement from the Coast Guard. Together we enjoy creating new products while raising our three boys on our homestead in North Carolina.
