The Completist was founded in January, 2018 by husband and wife duo Marko and Jana and is run from their colourful studio in Peckham, London. Inspired by art, fashion and history and united by their love of good design, The Completist is well-known for their unique combinations of print, colour and beautiful products. From cards for every occasion to their popular lay-flat notebooks, they have something for every design-conscious stationery lover. But good design doesn’t stop with the final product which is why they go the extra mile to make sure The Completist ‘experience’ is as sustainable as possible - all their paper goods are made from FSC certified paper and come in biodegradable film bags. The rest of the packaging is made from FSC certified card or recycled paper.

The Printed Peanut is still a one-woman operation, but is now based in sunny Yorkshire, UK. Louise lives and works in an old cotton mill where she spends her days creating designs from little paper cut outs and line drawings. Inspired by vintage textiles and print ephemera, her unique and colourful work has been applied to a varied selection of products including toys, games, clothes and pieces for your home.

Melissa Moss, from Asheville, NC, has a background in color psychology and is well versed in the meanings of colors and their subtle shades and tones. Working with acrylic, pen and ink, and resin, Melissa combines colors in an arresting way, creating a tinted world that is very much her own invention. Melissa’s paintings of delicate trees and otherworldly flowers may depict adorable creatures in peril or pretty pink flowers surrounding a forlorn tree. Tiny details are not always evident at first glance. Often fantastical, this is the subterranean landscape that lies beneath a child’s fairy tale or a Saturday morning cartoon. Her “seedlings” collection was inspired by the tenacity of nature and how, even in the worst of conditions, a tree or tiny flower will sprout up. Feeling sad and frustrated about the news in this country and around the world, Melissa started working on these to give her an escape. They are hopeful and tenacious “seedlings” in search of a better world. Melissa’s work has exhibited at galleries in Hong Kong, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Indianapolis, Savannah and Asheville.

Award-winning Ladyfingers Letterpress is an LGBTQ+ owned-and-operated stationery and gift brand based in Colorado Springs, founded by designer + printmaker couple, Arley Torsone and Morgan Calderini.

We launched our business in 2011 when our own wedding invitation went viral and we quickly became very busy producing (totally insane!) one-of-a-kind wedding invitations for the most creative and amazing clients. After the weddings were over, our clients would come back and ask if we had any letterpress cards to celebrate holidays, birthdays, etc. As a result, we decided to launch a humble line of greeting cards at the 2013 National Stationery Show and to our surprise, the line took off and our products are now sold in over 800 stores around the world.

Moglea is a design studio that creates modern paper and home goods, and was founded by Meg and Chad Gleason in 2012. Their artful line is created by using hand-applied production processes like paint and dye to add one-of-a-kind elements to each finished product. The production team in their Iowa-based studio thoughtfully applies layers of paint to extra thick sheets of paper before cutting them down, yielding unique compositions. Cards are dipped one at a time in custom blends of pigment and organic dyes. Each piece is finished on one of their antique presses where it is foil stamped, printed or die cut using traditional letterpress printing processes.

I’m an artist living and working in a treehouse in the old-growth forest of Oregon. My work explores themes of home, beauty, comfort, magic, and liberation. Working across painting, printmaking, and illustration, I create images rooted in folk symbolism, everyday objects, and familiar forms. My compositions often combine warmth, color, and pattern to evoke a sense of belonging and ease. I am the author of one book and the illustrator of more than nine books. My work has also included concert posters for bands such as Wilco and Cake, exclusive collaborations with Schoolhouse, and projects with Anthropologie. The work begins as art. Prints, stickers, and other objects are simply ways the images travel and live alongside people in their homes. At its core, my practice is about making art that feels grounding and human, work that offers small moments of beauty, comfort, and freedom.
