Betsy Stecker, the nature-inspired artist behind Big Mitten Linocuts, is an award-winning linoleum printmaker whose work is featured in fine art fairs across the Midwest and in more than a dozen Michigan galleries. She sketches onto linoleum blocks, carves the designs in relief, rolls ink to the carved blocks, and applies pressure to transfer the designs. Betsy's nature-inspired prints come from frequent travels to northern Michigan. Big Mitten Linocuts products on Faire are all high-quality reproduction prints and cards made entirely in Michigan: Betsy is a Michigan artist, the paper is recycled cardstock that is manufactured at a hydropowered plant in southwest Michigan, and her reproduction work is printed by a mom-and-pop printshop near her studio. Big Mitten Linocuts proudly supports The Greening of Detroit, a non-profit organization focused on enhancing the quality of life for Detroiters by planting trees, providing job training, and involving youth in the education of the natural environment.

You're older? Quit Lion! Send some birthday wishes in true Detroit style with this spirited and punny card, featuring a one-of-a-kind illustration of the city’s beloved football mascot. Perfect for the die-hard fan in your life, this charming card will score a touchdown with your birthday wishes!

We are a few human beings longing for connection / a small printmaking workshop based out of Oakland, California. We specialize in hand-printed & assembled objects, and we're blessed to be able to make them in a small studio by an Oakland farmhouse with a lemon tree. People I've Loved 's works (or pressing issues) intend to facilitate the communication between real, tactile people. Not that we want to deny people their digital selves, we just think there can be room for both. People I've Loved started in 2011 when Carissa Potter left Colpa Press to focus on creating a stationary line that would bridge the gap between people by helping them have authentic and sometimes difficult conversations. Carissa thinks about each card as a form of performance art that choreographs interactions between humans in various types of relationships. Giving in to nostalgic thoughts on the past, buried longings and hopes for the future, People I've Loved's product line embraces the whole range of emotions. We are “in search of the miraculous” yet tragic definition of what it means to exist, in this time and space. And feel that we should make time to share it. Over the years, People I've Loved has had an awesome team. We believe that more brains are better than one, and do all concept development as a team. We talk about our issues & interests as a group and see how we can address them authentically to help people get through their days. Take a deep long breath, things will turn out alright.

Founded in 2003 by husband-and-wife team Ted Vadakan and Angie Myung, Poketo has grown from a small startup into a creative hub and online destination. A lifestyle brand born out of the desire to infuse art and design into every day,  Poketo creates collections of design-conscious goods to cultivate a creative lifestyle. The name Poketo (pronounced “poh-keh-toe”) stems from the mispronunciation of “pocket” by Angie’s grandmother. It tied in perfectly with the first product ever created under Poketo: a series of artist wallets that fit right in your pocket—and Ted and Angie just loved the way it sounded.

In 2012, illustrator Louise Lockhart was working in a beautiful stationery shop in Vancouver which inspired her to start her own line of illustrated products. Realising there was a gap on the market for quality party games, she began making her version of Pass the Parcel (fuelled on peanut butter) and so The Printed Peanut was born. The Printed Peanut is still a one-woman operation, but is now based in sunny Yorkshire, UK. Louise lives and works in an old cotton mill where she spends her days creating designs from little paper cut outs and line drawings. Inspired by vintage textiles and print ephemera, her unique and colourful work has been applied to a varied selection of products including toys, games, clothes and pieces for your home.

Letterpress printed by hand in Portland, Oregon

EP MFG is a collective of nice people. We print and distribute letterpress cards for a variety of independent design brands. Our mission is to make people feel good, and encourage them to make others feel good too. We like to think of ourselves as ‘thoughtful as hell’ -- with a commitment to craft, sustainable manufacturing, and putting people first in all that we do. Here’s what you get when you work with us: Really Good Letterpress: We do letterpress the traditional way: by hand, with artistry and attention to craftsmanship. Every card we manufacture is exceptionally made. High Volume: With well over half a million cards going out the door each year, we offer quality and quantity at a speed not typically associated with the “snail mail” we produce. Sustainable Manufacturing: We make responsibly. From what we use, to how we use it, and constantly looking for ways to use less. We piloted our plastic-free packaging in 2023 with great success, eliminating plastic sleeves on 66% of cards that went out the door!

There’s something about tucking fruits alongside flowers in an arrangement that adds a feeling of unexpected abundance - this pretty sketch captures just that. Perfect for a little note, it also makes a beautiful invitation, place setting or framed art piece. Live Oak handmade paper with black letterpress ink featuring an illustration of an arrangement with flowers and fruit in a vessel.

Handmade paper card with four full deckled edges. Front is letterpress printed; back is letterpress printed with a small note including information about the natural dyes used to color each unique piece of paper. Comes with a textured, harvest white A2 envelope and a small card matte printed with photos and a little information about our process.

Hello and welcome to our little farmette! I’m Loren Profit Smith, and I founded farmette co in 2017 as a hand paper-making and letterpress studio that would emulate the values my family and I hold on our hobby homestead: pursuing beauty, celebrating the rhythms of the seasons, making space for peace, reflection and authentic connection, and sharing the abundance of this good earth. My small team and I dream up, write, design, handmake from fiber to deckled-edged sheet, botanically dye, fold and letterpress print each card that we offer. We make and ship everything from our barn studio, often accompanied by our sheep and a chicken or two. Our paper goods truly are a “farm to card” labor of love and we hope they bring you joy!

Handmade paper card with four full deckled edges. Front is letterpress printed; back is letterpress printed with a small note including information about the natural dyes used to color each unique piece of paper. Comes with a textured, harvest white A2 envelope and a small card matte printed with photos and a little information about our process.

With their masterful use of calligraphy, hand lettering, hand-drawn illustration, vintage etching, watercolor, and typography, the Antiquaria design philosophy embodies a vintage-modern design aesthetic. Antiquaria designs are meant to be approachable, not fussy or over-the-top. At Antiquaria, we believe design should feel natural, like it’s meant to be there, like it’s always been there. Above all, our designs should make you happy.

Antiquaria was officially born in August of 2010, but the adventure began a year earlier, when Emma James and Bailey Amon met in the Austin, Texas stationery store where Emma was designing invitations. Bailey walked into the store one day with her calligraphy portfolio, and the two immediately hit it off... we’re talking instant mutual admiration society here. A couple of months later, Emma hired Bailey to do the calligraphy for her beautiful wedding invitations, and the rest was history.

BRITISH MADE IN A RAINBOW OF COLOUR - Ark Colour Design was founded in 2015 by Jane Richards and Amy Lindsay. As buyers for our own shop in Cambridge, we have over a decades worth of experience in the gift trade. Drawing from our backgrounds in fashion and fine art, we set about creating products which are fun and affordable, but also well made. All our products are made by a small family run manufacturer in Scotland. The leather is processed in their on-site tannery and then cut and foil embossed to our designs. Because every piece is hand finished with embossing, each one is unique to the next.
