A real, playable cassette mixtape curated and and produced by Back of Beyond Press!
These mixtapes are the real deal, with 90 minutes of real, playable music on each cassette. Art is Risograph printed on our Riso print press in Minneapolis, MN.
Please note that these are a bit of a DIY item and mixes are on blank Maxell tapes. Think old-school mix style you recorded direct from your stereo. They are not a "professional" production in the sense there is no label on the tape itself, however they are all dubbed using a professional Sony duplicator machine. All cassette artwork does list track names on the inner sleeve of the artwork, however.

Back of Beyond Press is a small Risograph print shop based in Minneapolis, MN. Started in 2021 by owner Sarah Wolf as a means to provide community print resources to the public during peak isolation during the pandemic, the press has morphed and evolved to its present form. Today the press focuses on printing unique, one-of-a-kind Risograph prints in small batches that approach design and print with curiosity and care in every project.
