Poppies Cotton Tea Towel

Add some color and whimsy to your kitchen with these beautiful poppy flower tea towels!

Featuring original botanical illustrations, the image is screen printed by hand on 100% cotton unbleached towels with non-toxic water based inks. The towels are cut and sewn in Michigan. 

Each towel measures 30” x 30” 

Care: Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Non-chlorine bleach as needed.

Stacey Malasky is an artist, illustrator, and screen printer living and working out of Detroit. She is a founding co-owner of Ocelot Print Shop, a community screen printing shop in the Cass Corridor. All of Stacey's screen prints are made from her original drawings. Each one is a little unique, because they are all hand pulled. She is endlessly inspired by the natural world, especially her backyard eco-system. She uses eco-friendly, water based inks for paper and textile printing. All of her prints are printed on French Paper, a Michigan based family owned paper mill that creates lovely papers. Stacey's tea towels are printed on 100% cotton towels that are also produced in Michigan, by a small family owned business.

    Drink Coasters Duo
    Serve your favorite drinks and protect your table from drips and sweating glasses. These coasters make a perfect gift, especially when accompanied by a nice bottle! 

    We use a variety of hardwood off-cuts to create our coasters. This keeps our waste minimal and our operations sustainable - it also means that each and every coaster is unique! Every set of coasters have been designed and handcrafted to be beautiful and functional. After they are sanded and finished, we apply cork to the underside. This will keep the coasters from sliding and scratching furniture. Coasters come in sets of two, wrapped and tagged.

    Mutual Adoration goods are handcrafted in a women-run wood shop in Detroit. We use locally-sourced reclaimed wood, environmentally responsible paints and wood stains, and American-made hardware. Please note: Our work is made using old, reclaimed, antique materials. Our furniture, frames, and housewares have character. Marks of age and wear, from generations past. Each product has been created to use in modern life, while maintaining the patina and character of age. Wood grain, markings, knots, holes, and unique characteristics vary.

    Jodi Lynn Burton is an artist and illustrator, born and raised in Michigan. She finds much of her inspiration from exploring the outdoors and learning about science. Jodi feels compelled to share her illustrations to help creativity live on in minds of adults and children alike. Her love for learning and sharing has also poured over into a passion project she calls Detroit Craft Academy. DCA is a podcast dedicated to interviewing makers, creators, and DIY small business owners about what they do. During the show Jodi encourages makers to share their struggles and talk about what it is really like to run a business.
