Learn how to repair your clothing through the lost art of darning.
You know those pieces that you've been meaning to repair? Now is your chance! This technique is especially helpful for summer tops and lightweight knits.
This workshop will introduce you to visible mending techniques using a darning loom to effortlessly repair holes, tears, and abrasions in your clothing. We'll walk you through the tools, materials, and solutions using a variety of denim and knit fabrics for practice.
A variety of fabric and thread will be provided for practice. We encourage you to bring in your favorite ripped, worn, and snagged knits to repair.
Everyone will take home a mini loom and the skills to build a sustainable wardrobe.
