*This is a Beginner Level workshop - this means that you don't need to know much about sewing but you must know how to thread a machine and wind a bobbin. If you are a total newbie and unsure how to use a sewing machine, you may want to start with our Sewing Machine Essentials workshop.
This workshop will help you gain sewing confidence while you unleash your inner designer. Whether you need a project pouch for all those craft supplies, a travel bag to add to your luggage, or an upgrade for your sack lunch, why not make it all your own? Craft a very useful bag while you become best buds with your sewing machine!
We'll have a variety of fabrics to choose from, ranging in colors, patterns and texture. Students will also have access to a large stash of ribbon, rope, cords, and toggles to finish off their bags.
Bring your sewing machine if you wish to learn on your own equipment or you may borrow a studio machine. Please select your preference when you checkout.
