* This is a Beginner Level workshop - this means that you don't need to know much about sewing but you must know how to thread a machine and wind a bobbin. If you are a total newbie and unsure how to use a sewing machine, you may want to start with our Sewing Machine Essentials workshop.
Once you have learned the basics of using a sewing machine, you will be constructing this easy market bag. Using various print & solid fabrics, we will learn to cut out the bag, attach the handles and use French seams to give this simple bag a polished finish.
You will feel so confident in your new skills that you will want to reproduce this bag in many more fabrics at home!
All supplies, notions, and fabric will be provided.
Please bring your own sewing machine if you wish to learn on your own equipment or you may borrow a studio machine. Please select your preference when you checkout.
