Learn to crochet!

This entry-level class is designed for the total beginner or those with skills that may be a bit rusty. Curious about crochet but you’re a total newbie? This is the workshop for you!

Rhonda will get you oriented to the hook, hand positions, and managing tension on your yarn. You will learn the following stitches:

• Slip Knot
• Chain Stitch
• Single Crochet

Everyone will practice these stitches and gain a solid foundation in order to get going on a project. With loads of experience and her contagious enthusiasm for craft, Rhonda will set you on your way to a new hobby! 

All tools and materials will be provided. Everyone will take home their practice piece, a crochet hook, some yarn, and an instructional hand-out.

About the Instructor:

Rhonda Hamborsky has been an O.G. POST pal since we opened back in 2017. She may even be in first place for most workshops attended! Possessing a love for all things fiber, Rhonda learned how to crochet from her grandmother, who taught her using the mirror method. Because Rhonda is left-handed, she will be using that same method to teach. Rhonda always has several projects in process, including weaving, crocheting, embroidery and also recently began learning to knit too.
