Let's get spooooooky with paper mâché!

Local artist, Erin Wakeland will guide us through an abbreviated version of her multi-week super-sized sculpture series. In this 3 hour workshop, participants will create a paper mâché piece to celebrate Halloween. Create a classic candy bucket or build your own unique wearable art - think masks, crowns, and headpieces. 

Erin will teach the techniques, POST will supply the materials. You just need to bring your ideas! Participants are encouraged to create something whimsical, expressive, strange, and beautiful. 

Everyone will take home their paper mâché sculpture however, final painting and embellishments may have to be completed at home, after the workshop.

About the Instructor:

Erin Wakeland is a visual artist who makes multi-media sculptures, paintings, and accessories. She is interested in objects, trinkets, and the stories they tell about our world. Erin is inspired by the tug between nature and a whimsical, man-made world. A handmade, vibrant, and painterly quality runs throughout her multi-medium work.
