Bougie Nights Greeting Card

Greeting card depicting two woman lounging luxuriantly. Printed in England on a light cream, 300gsm carbon-neutral Italian paper, made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste. Adapted from one of the twelve plates in George Barbier’s Falbalas et Fanfreluches (‘ruffles and frills’), 1925. Barbier was an influential figure and tastemaker in French art and design of the 1910s and 1920s.
