Hawarthia Zebra, a popular succulent for first-time plant owners, is native to Southern Africa and grows similar in structure to aloe vera. These small compact spiky plants decorate my coffee table adding interest with their bumpy ridged texture. The petals once harvested look like daggers, talons, or dragon claws, highly detailed and organic with a brutalist form.

Cast from the actual plant in solid recycled metals, preserving the unique nature of each plant to make truly one-of-a-kind jewelry. The lightweight drop earrings measure approximately 1 to 1 1/2" long and feature a post and butterfly style earring back.

A variety of metals are available. Please select from the drop-down menu.

• Bronze
• Sterling Silver
• Gold Vermeil

Please note that you will not receive the exact pieces pictured. Each piece is handcrafted and made with the same care, but given that no plants are the same, no two pieces can be the same. The size specifications will be similar to that in the photograph.

Tree trunk Arts hand casts natural elements in solid silver and bronze. Through the wonder of nature and the artist’s spin on the lost wax casting process, each piece is unique. The plant parts are put into a wet plaster then the plaster mold goes into a kiln for 8+ hours, burning out the plant material to create a mold. Molten metal is centrifugally thrown into the mold creating a solid metal model to be then transformed into ready-to-wear jewelry.
