Hosted by POST + Elizabeth Isakson-Dado
Saturday March 30th from 2 to 6pm
Learn some new print skills while you get your hands dirty!
During this 4 hour make & take workshop, you will learn the art of setting wood type by hand to create 5 mini letterpress posters. Choose a mantra or short phrase (60 characters max, please), choose your letters from our collection of vintage type, set them up on our mid-century sign press, and print your own design! Each student will be able to mix it up with different ink and paper colors.
Everyone will take home a short stack of 8.5 x 11 inch prints to swap, gift or frame!
Aprons will be provided, but please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a little bit dirty. Ink will stain your clothing!
