One of a set of three prints by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858), entitled 'New Edition of Shadow Shapes' (c.1842). Hiroshige was one of the last masters of the Japanese 'ukiyo-e' style and a great influence on Western painters such as Van Gogh. Courtesy Minneapolis Institue of Art.
