Sedeveria, a floral lotus-shaped succulent of the family Crassulaceae a hybrid of sedum and echeveria, typically grows in Mexico, but these beauties are grown in collected from my own plant collection here in Detroit. The casting provides such great detail and texture emphasized by the finish. Cast from the actual plant in solid recycled metals, preserving the unique nature of each plant to make truly one-of-a-kind jewelry.
The lightweight drop earrings measure approximately 1 3/4 to 2" long and feature a wishbone style ear hook.
A variety of metals are available. Please select from the drop-down menu.

Please note that you will not receive the exact pieces pictured. Each piece is handcrafted and made with the same care, but given that no plants are the same, no two pieces can be the same. The size specifications will be similar to that in the photograph.

Tree trunk Arts hand casts natural elements in solid silver and bronze. Through the wonder of nature and the artist’s spin on the lost wax casting process, each piece is unique. The plant parts are put into a wet plaster then the plaster mold goes into a kiln for 8+ hours, burning out the plant material to create a mold. Molten metal is centrifugally thrown into the mold creating a solid metal model to be then transformed into ready-to-wear jewelry.
