Christopher N. Hofmann instantly fell in love with blowing glass at the age of 17 in the Toledo Museum of Art's original hot shop. He holds a BFA in Sculpture, Jewelry, and Hot Glass from Columbus College of Art and Design, where he was exposed to Venetian techniques, sculpting, small scale metal fabrication and other mixed media. Shortly after graduating in 2008, he went on to become a Tech Apprentice at the Pittsburgh Glass Center from 2010-11. Christopher came to Michigan in 2021 and works as a Glass Blower at Greenfield Village at the Henry Ford Museum.

Our authentic wool comes from hands of artistry that has been making genuine hand-made products for years in Nepal. The products have evolved from pieces of fine garments to works of art. Produced by a small family business specialising in textiles. The business is run by a husband and wife team who also subcontract to disadvantaged groups within their community.

These sisal, woven baskets are handmade by a weaving cooperative in southeastern Kenya. The women hand-dye the sisal fibers and weave them into these beautiful works of art. These baskets are great for wall storage in your bathroom, pantry, bedroom, or playroom! You can also display dried flowers in it.
