Drop-In Workshop: Necklace Making with Erin Wakeland's Bead Bar

DROP-IN anytime between 3pm and 6pm

This drop-in project does not have a specific start and stop time. Just drop-in anytime during the workshop. Please note that most folks will need approximately 30-60 minutes to complete this project so please plan accordingly.

Entry Level Class—No experience necessary

All ages are welcome but note that all youngsters must be accompanied by an adult.

Celebrate Valentine's Day with a custom-made statement necklace. This will be a fun workshop to drop into on your own, with a loved one, or with a whole group of pals!

During this beginner-friendly workshop, you will craft bespoke, beaded jewelry using hand-sourced beads curated by artist, Erin Wakeland. Erin will guide participants in selecting beads from her massive collection and show her tips and tricks for expertly stringing your piece.

If you are concerned about properly finishing off your creation - no worries! - Erin will handle all the finishing clasp-work so participants can enjoy a session of stress-free beading. 

About the Instructor:

Erin is a visual artist who makes multi-media sculptures, paintings, and accessories. She is interested in objects, trinkets, and the stories they tell about our world. Erin is inspired by the tug between nature and a whimsical, man-made world. A handmade, vibrant, and painterly quality runs throughout her multi-medium work.
