Spend some time with friends in the POST studio, learning and creating our favorite thing…jewelry!!!

During this 3 hour hands-on workshop, Julie will cover the basics of jewelry design and assemblage. She’ll bring in her gorgeous collection of new and vintage beads to inspire your creativity as you build your custom set. Learn her process of design, lay out, material selection, assembly, and finishing using jump rings, flat elements and jewelry pliers. 

Each attendee will take home one completed pair of earrings and a beaded necklace along with the know-how and inspiration to continue making on their own.

About the Instructor:

Julie Broekman (née Rudziensky) is a Livonia, MI based artist. By day she works in the automotive design industry, and by night she channels her creativity into jewelry design and the visual arts. Her newest venture, Fisherfolk, features a curated collection of handmade jewelry, vintage home goods, and craft supplies.

A lover of bold color, rich textures, and the beauty of the natural world, Julie draws constant inspiration from her surroundings—infusing her work with vibrancy, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for materials.
