Dive into the world of therapeutic art making with multi-media artist, Shug aka Sheri Lee Robinson.
This workshop is a creative journey into the complicated and honored subjects of grief, loss and mourning. Without exception, grief (in its many forms) will touch all of us at some point in our lives. Whether it's a loved one's passing, relationship loss, a move to a new city, job loss, a change in health...there is no way around it...we must go THROUGH it. Let's do this work together, creatively.
Shug will guide you step-by-step through a variety of writing and art therapy-based exercises designed to give you a creative helping hand as you navigate the physical, mental, and emotional world of grief.
In this workshop, you will be given your own blank Requiem Book to work on in class and take home to continue your explorations. Everyone will also create a collage (or several collages!) based on your findings.
Please note: the environment at POST is lively, inviting, and kind. This is a safe space for all.
All materials/tools/supplies will be provided.
