Sewing Workshop: Pumpkin Set

Friday October 24th from 5:30 to 7:30pm

Entry Level Class—No experience necessary

Age 14+ (minors must accompany an adult)

If you enjoy the crisp autumn air and the crunch of leaves underfoot, you will love hanging out in the POST studio and creating this Pumpkin Snack Mat and Coaster set! To truly get into the seasonal spirit, we will enjoy two Fall inspired cocktails while creating our project.

This pretty pumpkin set is an easy project that will introduce you to a simple free motion embroidery technique without needing a special sewing foot or prior experience. All tools, materials, and supplies will be provided in class. 

Everyone will take home 1 mat, 2 coasters, cocktail recipes, and sewing pattern. Extra fabric will be available to make more coasters/mats if time permits.

Please bring your own sewing machine if you wish to learn on your own equipment or you may borrow a studio machine. Please select your preference when you checkout.

About the Instructor:

Donna Killeen is the owner and creator of Detroit Apron Company. She enjoys working with natural linen and cotton fabrics to create aprons, hand towels, and market bags. Donna has been teaching at POST since 2018!
