I believe in creating a more beautiful world through sharing gifts from nature with others while supporting environmentally sustainable practices. The ocean is a healing energy source for me. Every time I gaze at that wide open sea, I’m still reminded about how amazing Earth is, that there is a world underwater different than ours. I spent my summers as a kid at the beach, examining tide pools, jumping from rock to rock, and learning how to swim at a little beach in La Jolla that seals have now taken over. And I'm happy they did. In fact, I still spend my summers getting lost and playing by the ocean. My air plant creations reflect my vision to heal through a reconnection to nature, to others, and to myself. Feeling free with sun and fresh air on your skin, watching the hypnotic rhythm of waves, ocean heartbeats. The joy of watching something grow, a child, a plant, a love. These are the feelings that inspire me to create and design for Mist & Sea.
